It happened 50 years ago on an ordinary night.
Exhausted from the effort of finding inspiration in the design of the moment at the beginning of my career as an architect, I made the grave mistake of sitting down to watch a game of Bridge that my father used to play periodically with his friends.
I say grave mistake, because, from that moment until now, I have been caught between two fires: the passion for Architecture and the passion for the BRIDGE.
The challenge of analyzing complex situations and making decisions in a short time became addictive. My profession didn't allow me the necessary time to organize and write down all the information I had accumulated over the years and approach it in a way that...
I delved deeply into all the issues that troubled me:
To create a teaching methodology that would motivate and capture the attention of future generations
younger people are reluctant to face the challenge of learning this complex and exciting game.
To address many of the system's shortcomings that continually plagued my mind,
To detail the conventions of the SYSTEM in a broad and didactic way.
Finally, in 2020, taking advantage of the pandemic and motivated by my students who continually urged me to write down in an organized way all the information I had used to make them excellent players of this game, I decided to undertake the task.
